Special Gifts for Your Support
We are delighted to have some very Pittsburgh-centric thank you gifts to help reinforce the importance of Pittsburgh in jazz and in the purpose behind WZUM
One of our favorite records of all time is Quincy Jones, The Quintessence. The tune “For Lena and Lennie” served as the theme for Tony Mowod’s Nightside for decades. We wanted to offer it as a thank you gift, but it is out of print.
A reissue has put together The Quintessence with 7 other classic Quincy Jones jazz albums - from a 1956 date with the Art Farmer Septet through his 1963 exploration of the music of Alquippa’s Henry Mancini.

One of the easiest ways is to make a RECURRING, Sustaining Gift of a monthly, recurring, amount that can be automatically deducted from your credit or debit card until you tell us to stop. There’s an option for monthly, recurring, sustaining gifts on the website, or just inform our operator you’d like to make a sustaining gift.
