The DIVA Jazz Orchestra at MCG Jazz, Saturday November 23 with vocalist Kim Nazarian with special attention to artist from 100 years ago - born in 1924;
David Budway back to Pittsburgh for a classical concert at MCG Jazz Sunday November 17, and with Tania Grubbs for her CD Release event at MCG on Monday the 18th;

Quincy Jones - 91 - who was involved with just about everyone in jazz and popular music for the past 70 years, including Dizzy Gillespie, Dinah Washington, Count Basie, George Benson, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra… and Pittsburgh native and Quincy Collaborator Sammy Nestico
Lou Donalson - age 98 - whose soul and bop alto sax combination was a joy to behold for many decades
Versatile drummer Roy Haynes, age 99. His long career included work with Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Stan Getz, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Quincy Jones(!), Pat Metheny and hundreds more notable artists.
